-----------------------MINUTES ---------------------------
Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for opens and IBIS related patent disclosures:

- Bob: We could consider moving the meeting time to accommodate Greg Edlund
  - Eckhard is able to meet one hour later

AR: Mike to ask Greg about time change

- Mike: Quorum was not reached last week, effectively no meeting

AR Review:

- None

New items:

Mike: We are making progress very slowly
- Having trouble developing the starter AMI checklist supplied by Greg
- Bob: Greg would be a good candidate to edit this
- Eckhard: We should divide this among us by section

Mike: Most AMI models today go beyond IBIS 5.0
- An IQ spec based only on IBIS 5.0 might not be very useful
- We should include BIRDs that have passed
- Bob: We should keep the rules separate

Mike: I would like to write AMI bug reports for IBISCHK5
  - For example it does not check min and max Range values
- Bob: Passing the parser currently means little for an AMI model
  - Atul had to stop when he found many problem with the IBIS 5.0 spec
  - We could look at the message list produced by Atul for clues

Mike showed parser bug 125:
- Bob: There is no checking for duplicate keywords
- Mike: The parser must be reading into an array, not a hash
  - Only one value should be allowed for each keyword
- Bob: Agree
- Mike: In Model_Specific models need to search for certain keywords
  - They must ignore all others
  - When looking up THE Type of a parameter there must be only one

Next meetings:
- Next meetings Dec 13 and Dec 20

Dec 13 agenda:
- Form list of new IBISCHK5 parser bugs for AMI

Meeting ended at 12:15 Eastern Time.
